Atid BaMidbar - This organization makes it possible for Nativ to have a meaningful experience in Yerucham. Atid Bamidbar has played a huge role in developing Yerucham into a hub of education and culture. It offers visiting groups a look into the rich life of the desert and all that the Yerucham area has to offer. "Atid BaMidbar" literally means that the future is in the desert, one of David Ben-Gurion’s central values, an idea that Atid Bamidbar works to preserve.
Motnas Yerucham (Hebrew Only) - The Matnas in many ways is like a JCC in North America. It provides community and cultural events for all Yerucham residents. Their mission is to provide high quality and diverse services in order to facilitate a flourishing Yerucham community.
Kol Yaakov Elementary School (Hebrew Only) - Kol Yaakov is a religious elementary school in Yerucham.
ORT Sapir High School (Link in English; click here for a more comprehensive site in Hebrew) - a secular high school in Yerucham.
Midreshet Kama (Hebrew only) - Religious girls high school.
Yeshivat Belevav Shalem - Yeshiva high school of Yeruham.
Magen David Adom - "MADA," as Israelis call it, is at the forefront of first-response in emergency situations. Nativers in Yerucham have the privilege of volunteering at MADA, in addition to their primary work, and do so in eight hour shifts. MADA helps Nativers improve their Hebrew and also gives them an opportunity to save a few lives during their free time.
